As the Practice Manager at Highgate Partners, one of Georgie’s main roles is to ensure everything works like clockwork and that no small detail is overlooked. This translates into a watertight operation and a seamless client experience. Her extensive and varied background in management and financial accounting combined with client facing roles across both the public and private sectors will ensure this is achieved at the highest level.
Georgie grew up in Dunedin, gaining a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Otago in 1991. She subsequently qualified as a chartered accountant whilst working at Price Waterhouse Coopers (then Coopers & Lybrand) in 1994. Since then, she has had roles predominantly within the construction & education sectors of both NZ and Australia.
Outside of work Georgie loves spending time with her husband Mike and two teenage daughters. She enjoys walking, reading, classes at the gym and playing bridge. One of her passions is travel, having lived overseas for several years, most recently in Singapore where she travelled extensively around Asia with her family. She also enjoys giving back to the community, being treasurer of numerous voluntary organisations over the years.
